Franklyn Stuart 'STU' Weisgerber, III, of Bradenton, passed away July 20, 2017.
He was born on January 23, 1948 in Hackensack, New Jersey to the late Franklyn Stuart Jr. and Audrey B. (Sandford) Weisgerber. He moved to Bradenton in the early 1960's, coming from New Jersey.
Stu served his country faithfully during the Vietnam War where he served with the United States Army. Locally he was the former owner of several local business over the years. One of his favorites was Divine Wines. He was an avid fisherman and loved to do all different types of handicrafts.
Stu was predeceased by a brother, Roy in 2016 and is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Legault of Bradenton, daughter, Beatrice Cormier of Charlotte, N.C., three sisters; Lynn (Harold) Harrison of Commerce, GA, Audrey (Charles) Mills of Bradenton, Darlen (William)Milam of Maryville, TN, three precious grandchildren; Gabrielle and Lindsey Cormier, Ethan Chancey, and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Stu's life will be held 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Bradenton Yacht Club.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the American Leukemia Society in his memory.
