Frances Sylvia Wells was born July 27th, 1933 to the loving arms of the late Stella Boulden and Manual Santos Correia in Hartford, CT.  She grew up in Providence, RI with 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Frances married Reverend Roger Sterling Wells Sr. and they raised 9 children. To Frances nothing was more important than family and her relationship with God.  She was a homemaker, missionary and helped her husband with their church ministry at New Life Community Baptist Church.  In her leisure time she enjoyed sewing and knitting.

On November 3, 2021, the Lord called Frances Sylvia Wells to eternal rest.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Marcella Correy, her son Charles Wells, her sister Stella Correy and brother Leon Correy.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her husband Reverend Roger Sterling Wells Sr.; her 7 sons, Clyde Correy, Ronald F. Wells Sr. & Alton Wells of Florida; George Correy & Kenneth Correy both of Rhode Island; Roger Wells II & Kevin Wells both of North Carolina; her brother, Frederick Correy Sr. of Rhode Island; over 50 grandchildren, over a dozen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
