Eric R. Netzloff

Eric Richard Netzloff (Netz), 53, passed away peacefully at 3:30, June 15, 2024 at home in Bradenton, FL after a lengthy illness.

Eric was born March 10th, 1971 in Flint, Michigan to Richard  and Linda (Bentley) Netzloff.  He graduated from Davison HIgh School, then furthered his education at Michigan State University, majoring in Engineering. He migrated to Western NY to work for Dresser-Rand in Olean, then  Siemens in Lockport as an Engineer.  Later, he would obtain his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Buffalo, and then pursue a Law Degree from the University of Buffalo.  He then went on to become a Patent Examiner for the United States Government.

Eric was a thinker and a planner. He had a love for boating, fishing and all water sports. He also spent many years as a level 3 snowboard instructor at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY. His other interests were going for hikes with his wife and dogs, cooking and working on house projects. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Quattrone Netzloff, parents Richard and LInda Netzloff of Bradenton; sisters Holly (Dan) Flowers and Amy (Chris) Schulte; nieces Megan, Courtney, Mary; nephews, Andy, Jon and Everett; stepchildren, Jacob (Hannah) Baer and Alex (Tony) Calbi, grandchildren AJ, Avery and Brooks.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Monday, June 24th  at 2:00pm at Shannon Funeral Home in Bradenton, Florida with reception to follow at the Richard Netzloff residence.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Eric’s life.
