Emilie P. Krstonich

Emilie P. Krstonich, 94, Bradenton, passed away January 12, 2017.

Emilie was born on January 9, 1923 in Creighton, Pennsylvania to the late Michael and Sophie (Hensel) Pish. She was resided in East and West Deer Townships, PA. She married her husband James J. Krstonich on August 21, 1948. Emilie was a retired inspector with Mine Safety Appliances, and was a member of the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brackenridge, PA, and was a founding member of the ACME Club in Cheswick, PA. She has been a resident of Bradenton since August of 2013 coming from Tarentum, PA.

She was predeceased by her loving husband James J. Krstonich in April of 1989, sister, Helen Pish, and four brothers; Michael, George, Paul, and Robert Pish. She is survived by her son, George J. (Holly Bruce) Krstonich of Bradenton, FL, daughter, Darlene K. Shaffer of The Villages, FL, two brothers; Richard (Dolores) Pish of New Kensington, PA, Joseph ( Marsha) Pish of Lower Burrell, PA, sister, Dorothy (Thomas) Gault of Cummings, GA, two grandchildren; Nathan Krstonich of Deerfield Beach, FL, Shawn (Patricia Layhew) Krstonich of Parrish, FL, three great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 P.M. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at the Shannon Funeral Home Town Chapel, 1015 14th St. W., Bradenton, Fl. Following the visitation Emilie will be transferred to the Adam Siemianowski Funeral Home, 179 Starr Road, Russelton, PA where a graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M on Friday, January 20, 2017. in the chapel of Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell, PA where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband.

The family requests that no flowers be sent  that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in Emilie P. Krstonich’s memory to the Westminster Manor Bradenton Foundation, Health Center Educational Fund, 1700 21st Avenue West, Bradenton, Fl. 34205.
