Elia A. Cipriano, 81, of Bradenton, passed away Jan. 6, 2017.
Elia was born June 23, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Elia F. and Philomena (Gugliano) Cipriano. He served with the Air National Guard for several years. He retired from Western Electric which is now AT&T as a supervisor with 30 years of service. He moved to Bradenton in 1988 coming from Syracuse, NY.
Locally he started the ManaSara Appraisal Services in Bradenton, and worked there for many years before his retirement. He was also a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Elia was predeceased by a sister Gloria Eaton and is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Lelia (Eysaman) Cipriano of Bradenton, three sons; Elia (Marissa) Cipriano of Houston, TX, Thomas (Carmen) Cipriano and Michael (Genesis) Cipriano both of Bradenton, daughter, Tracie (James) Adams of Bradenton, two brothers; Edwin (Jane) Cipriano, Peter (Dianna) Cipriano both of Syracuse,NY and Bradenton, one sister, Diane (Joseph) Celentano of Syracuse, NY and Bradenton, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and many extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Avenue W., Bradenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. with a family eulogy at 9:45 A.M. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Bradenton with inurnment to follow at Palma Sola Cemetery in Bradenton.
