Dyllan “D.J.” James Chevalier, 23, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his residence.
D.J. was born on August 4, 1993 in Sarasota, Florida and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a graduate of Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Florida.
He was predeceased by a paternal step-grandfather, Antonio Penaloza, and is survived by his mother and step-father; Lisa and Antonio Penaloza of Bradenton, father, Scott Baker of Bradenton, five brothers; Scott Anthony Baker, Jr. of Ellenton, Florida, Malaki Emerson Jordan, Antonio Penaloza, Jr., Damien Penaloza, Deven Penaloza all of Bradenton, two sisters; Kyria Nicole Coast of Leesburg, Florida, Ashleigh Penaloza of Bradenton, paternal grandparents; Donald “Pop’s” Baker and Janice Baker both of Bradenton, maternal grandfather and step-grandmother; Steve and Linda Chevalier of Venice, Florida, maternal grandmother, Julie Patterson of Bradenton, step-paternal grandmother, Antonia Penaloza of Palmetto, and many extended family members and friends.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
