Dwane Francis Illes

On Sunday, November 8, 2020, Dwane Illes passed away at the age of 81.

Dwane was born on February 8,1939 in South Bend, Indiana. Where he grew up with his parents and brother Adrian. While serving in the army, Dwane met and married Sabine Illes. Together they started an amazing life with their two sons, Marc and Todd and their daughter Denise. Over the years, Dwane enjoyed watching his children succeed in their lives and loved watching his grandchildren, Harry, Connor, Justin, Charlie, Katie and Jake, grow up.

What else can you say? The best husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend you could ask for. His family and friends were the most important part of his life and he would do anything for any of us.

He supported everyone in our family with whatever we would dream of. Skiing, fashion, cooking, soccer, horses, firefighting, baseball, modeling whatever you can imagine. He was there for you. If you needed a laugh and a drink he was there. If you needed a serious conversation and a drink he was there. He loved us with all of his heart and anyone who met him felt his love too.

I hope that everyone can have a fulfilling life like Dwane has had. There is no doubt he will be missed by so many.

So everyone raise a glass and say a toast to Dwane. Prost... we love you forever and always ❤️
