Douglas Scott Rohrer

Douglas Scott Rohrer, 57, Myakka City, passed away Nov. 6, 2015.

He was born on Feb. 15, 1958 in Sarasota, Florida to the late Herman and Maybelle (Neuhouse) Rohrer. He was raised in Oneco and was a member of the 1976 graduating class of Southeast High School. He was also an Eagle Scout.

Douglas was a long time resident of Myakka City, and was a Master Septic Tank Contractor. He was the owner of Rhorer’s Septic since 1985.

Survived by his wife, Joy of Bradenton, son, William of Myakka City, daughter, Jessica of San Francisco, CA, sister, Pamela (Scott) Crawford of Bradenton, many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Douglas’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2015 at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton,

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Camp Flying Eagle c/o SW Florida Council Boy Scouts of America, 1801 Boy Scout Drive, Ft. Myers, FL, 33907 in his memory.
