Donald Arthur Buttling Jr

Donald "Don" A. Buttling passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022. Don was born August 13, 1957 in Queens, NY. He was raised in West Hempstead, NY and resided in Long Island until he moved to Florida in 1997.

Don was an avid lover of chess, the movie theater, and NY sports. He was a family man and was happiest when spending time with his two children, whom he was very proud of. Don was also very proud of earning his newest title "Grand Pappy."

Don fought the good fight for many years and although we will miss him dearly, we find comfort in knowing that he is at peace.

He was predeceased by his parents Donald and Florence Buttling of West Hempstead, NY. Don is suvived by his wife Carol of Bradenton Fl, and his children Donald (Jessica) of Queens, NY and Leeann of Bradenton, Fl and his grandson Donald "Xander." His sisters Patricia Buttling (Janet), Maureen Kennedy (John), Colleen MacSparron, and Kathleen Commack and numerous nieces and nephews.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday September 17th at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in West Hempstead, NY at 9:45am.
