David C. Johnson

David C. Johnson, 74 of Bradenton, Florida, passed away on January 16, 2017 at the Complex Care Hospital at Ridgelake in Sarasota, Florida.

David was born on December 29, 1942 in Terryville, Connecticut to the late Charles and Ella (Wunsich) Johnson. He has been a resident of Bradenton since 1972 coming from Connecticut. He was the founder and former owner of Johnson Lawn Service and also Bringman Lawn Service in Bradenton. David also was a past member and Exalted Ruler of the Manasota Elks Lodge in Bradenton.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Carin (Bringman) Johnson of Bradenton, four sons; David Johnson and his wife Wendy of Bradenton, Florida,  Michael Johnson and his wife Jessica of Parrish, Florida, T.J. Johnson and his wife Jennifer of Fairview, Oregon, Chris “CJ” Johnson and his wife Susan of Bradenton, Florida, one daughter, Tracey Bickford of Fort Meyers, Florida, one sister Dorothy Averson of Bradenton, Florida, nine grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
