Darla Lee

Darla Jean Lee, age 63, born April 8, 1961, passed away in her home on Sunday, April 6, 2025, with her loving husband by her side. She moved to Bradenton, FL, from Union, Ohio, in 1997 with her family. 

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all.

She worked as an office administrator at multiple jobs throughout her life, including airports and a fish farm. She was the glue that held things together and kept everything running smoothly, especially with her family, which is why her true calling and passion in life was taking care of her family and spending time with them. No matter what was going on in life, she would stop and help anyone who needed it. Her greatest joys in life were spending days relaxing by the pool with her family and friends, baking, shopping, and talking with her granddaughters, and spending every day beside her loving husband. She loved everyone and did not have a mean bone in her body. She was caring, patient, and always giving.

Darla will be dearly missed by all, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Randal Lee, her son Randy Lee and wife Mary Lee, her sisters Bridgett Stacy of Bradenton, FL, Robin McCormick and husband Mike McCormick of Troy, Ohio, her brother Robert Turner and his wife Gayle Turner from Tipp City, Ohio. Granddaughters Katelyn and Jenna Lee, and various nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Lee, and her parents, Robert and Donna Turner, from Bradenton.

Visitation will be held on April 14th, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with the Funeral services beginning at 12:00 (noon) at Shannon Funeral Home in Bradenton .
