Danny Turner Evans

Danny Turner Evans, 66, Bradenton, passed away June 1, 2016 at the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton.

Danny was born on July 10, 1949 in Bradenton. He was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. He served his country faithfully during the Vietnam Era by serving with the United States Army achieving the rank of Sergeant.

Locally Danny was the former owner and operator for many years of Danny Evans Bail Bonds in Bradenton. He was an avid fisherman, fishing in many local tournaments over the years and taking first place numerous times.

He was predeceased by his mother, Lottie (Crawford) Prosser, two brothers; Gary and Michael Evans, and a grandson, Robbie Post. Survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Linda Gentle Evans of Bradenton, his children; Danny Evans and his wife Lori of Bryon, Georgia, Dea Evans of Bradenton, Matt Evans of Bradenton, Fred Gentle and his girlfriend Tammy Hall of Bradenton, and Melinda McGann and her husband Donnie of Bradenton. His father and step-mother; W.T. and Mary Evans of Ellenton, three brothers; Dale Evans, Donald Evans, Howard Durden all of Bradenton, four sisters; Brenda Cumpston, Trisha Drawdy, Shiela Soles and her husband Ricky, Debbie White and her husband Butch all of Bradenton. Five grandsons; Chance Evans, Ryan Post, Fred Aaron Gentle, Taylor McGann all of Bradenton, Eric Gentle of North Carolina, six granddaughters; Sarah Rae Evans, Tori Evans, Jersie Evans all of Bryon, Georgia, Brittany Post of Bradenton, Shaylee Ray Evans of Ohio, Amber Gentle of Bradenton, six great-grandsons; Drew Hamlin, Jayden Evans, Julian Rodriguez, Tyson Rodriguez, Demarin and Little D Gentle, two great-granddaughters; Kyleigh Rodriguez, Mariah Rodriguez, and many extended family members and friends.

There will be a celebration gathering for Danny at the Evans Family Reunion on July 10, 2016 starting at 9 AM until sunset at the Coquina Beach Pavilion, Bradenton Beach, FL.
