Colonel Bob Elliott

Colonel Bob Elliott, USAF, Retired, 102 years old, of Holmes Beach passed away December 22, 2017.
Bob was born on January 2, 1915 in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Robert Walter and Isabel Degrouche Elliott.  He served his country faithfully through service in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and completed his military career with the United States Air Force from which he retired with the rank of Colonel.
Bob volunteered for some 40 years at the Key Royale Golf Club where he served in multiple ways.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Elliott Schwartz and a brother, Richard Elliott.  He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Beatrice (Giles) Elliott of Holmes Beach.
A time of remembrance for Bob Elliott will be held at the Key Royale Club on December 28th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.  The address is 700 Key Royale Drive, Holmes Beach, FL 34217.
Burial will be at a later time at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.
