Claire Lydia Boudreau Bickey, born in Quebec, Canada, and later a resident of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024.

She was married to her husband, Vasil Bickey, for 44 years. Claire is preceded in death by her husband and her granddaughter, Alexandria Gunnels. Claire and Vasil first met while on vacation in Miami, where she spoke very little English, and he spoke no French. Despite the language barrier, they formed a strong connection. Claire moved to Connecticut to be with Vasil, and they were married in 1969. Their bond deepened over shared moments, including their love for playing cards. After moving to St Petersburg ,FL Claire became the owner and operator of Bingo Voyage and Tours. For 12 years, she was recognized as the number one tour operator, proudly holding a CDL license to drive a 54-passenger bus.

The couple owned beautiful properties in St Petersburg , North Port, Punta Gorda, Redington Beach, and even ventured to North Carolina. Claire had a wonderful sense of decorating, admired by friends and family, who believed she could have pursued a career as an interior decorator.

They enjoyed many adventures together in their stunning RVs, creating lasting memories along the way.

Known for her big laugh and fierce love, Claire was a devoted protector of her family and friends. No matter how hard she worked, she ensured that dinner was on the table for a home cooked meal at 4:00 p.m., a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Claire's warmth and kindness will continue to resonate through her family and friends, as well as her beloved dog, Willie, who remains by their side.

A service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery on Thursday, November 7th, at 9:00 a.m.
