Christopher L Babauta

Christopher Lee Babauta passed away on February 6, 2019.

He has been a Manatee County resident since 1994. He graduated from Manatee High School in 2002 and attended Manatee Technical Institute for HVAC.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was involved in many local organizations in Manatee County such as Ducks Unlimited, Jerry Hill Memorial Kids Fishing Tournament and Salvation Army. His love for the outdoors was only surpassed by his love of family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his Mother and Father, Jeff and Sandy Babauta, Uncles: George Babauta, John Babauta, Ray Babauta, Jesse Babauta, Jerry Babauta, Rich Borja, Scott Nunemaker, Frank Martin, Aunts: Pam Babauta, Terry Babauta, Marla Babauta, Kellie Babauta, Teresa Babauta, Helene Nunemaker, Geri Babauta, Linda Babauta, Lou Ann Sarachene, Isabel Ricourt, and many cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be made to any of the following organizations: Jerry Hill Memorial Kids Fishing Tournament (Palmetto Kiwanis), Ducks Unlimited (Manatee Chapter) or any youth fishing and hunting organizations.

A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Town Chapel location.
