Charles Vernon Wilhoite, 66, of Bradenton, passed away on August 2, 2016.

He is survived by his son; Leon Wilhoite, fiance'; Kathy Martineau, 2 brothers; Ronald and Mack, and 1 sister; Julane.

Charles retired from the Manatee County School Board after 27 years of service, working in many different departments over that time.

He was a member of the Bradenton Loyal Order of Moose Lodge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to the Manatee County Humane Society.
