Cecil Buford Harper Jr, affectionally known as "CB", went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2024.
CB was born in Clinton, Kentucky to Leacy and Cecil Harper Sr. He was one of six children.
He was a kind, gentle and caring man. He would give you the shirt off his back and did, on more than one occasion. CB was a builder and all around handy man. He could build or fix anything. He was also known to help you clean up around the yard and haul away larger items.
CB was a member of the Bradenton Gospel Tabernacle and was a man strong in his faith.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years; Terris Harper, son; Stephen (LeAnn) Holcomb, daughter; Sherry ( Michael) Neel, two granddaughters; Rebecca (Justin) Neel Goavec and Katherine Neel, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his five siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2024 from 3:00 - 4:00 PM with the Funeral Service commencing at 4:00 PM at Shannon Funeral Home.
CB will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, Kentucky.
