Carol Ann Murphy

Carol Ann Murphy, 73, of Palmetto, passed away November 30, 2016.

Carol was born on October 27, 1943 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late John J. and Angelina (Solimine) O’Connor. She worked was retired from the State Government of Massachusetts as an Administrative Assistant. Carol moved to Palmetto in 1998 and was active in the community of Coach House Mobile Home Park.

She is survived by her two daughters; Donna Akin and her husband Burch of Palmetto, Patricia Sawmiller of Bradenton, one brother, Jack O’Connor of New York, three grandchildren; Rachel Sawmiller of North Port, Fl, Jordan Sawmiller of Bradenton, Tyler Sawmiller and his wife Arielle of Bradenton, two great-grandchildren; Cato and Maka Sawmiller of Bradenton, and many extended family members and friends.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the American Lung Association in her memory.
