Carl Ira Comstock

Carl Ira Comstock, of Bradenton, passed away June 17, 2018. He was 80 years young.

Carl was born on October 9, 1937 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Carl Russell and Elizabeth Winifred Comstock.

Graduated from Sayre High School in 1956.

Divorced but lifetime friends with Joan Rupert, together they raised three children; Thomas (Wanda) Comstock of Sayre Pennsylvania, Mike Comstock of Glendale, Arizona, and Kimlyn (Terry) Wilson of Bradenton, Florida, four grandchildren: Brittany Wilson, Brianne Wilson, Heather (Jacob) Ring, and Todd Comstock.

He had four siblings: Donna (Donald) Webb, Linda (Larry) Ericksen, Larry (Paula) Comstock, Garry (Deborah) Comstock, one sister in law Jean Jolley, step mother in law Elfriede Liddiard and her son Ralf Weiss of Nurnberg, Germany and many nieces and nephews.

Carl was a loving father who enjoyed spending time with his family. His hobbies were fishing, bird watching and wine making.

Served Honorably in the Navy 1957-1961.
