Bobby M. Hardy

Bobby Michael Hardy, 69, was ushered into his eternal home in Heaven on October 8, 2024.

Bob was born in Harlan KY on July 24, 1955 and raised in Cincinnati OH. He moved to Longboat Key FL in 1983. There he founded Longboat Key Maintenance in 1986, later founding Hardy (BMH) Services and Longboat Key Property Management, and co-founding Longboat Key Pest Control.

As an Owner-Operator of multiple businesses, he built a reputation for his commitment to quality service. He deeply valued the relationships that were formed with colleagues and clients alike, but with a heavy heart opted to sell his businesses and retire in 2007.

A devoted father, Bob leaves behind his beloved children Jamey, Ian (and wife Zhelle), Sydney (and partner Tommie), and Emmalie, along with his treasured grandchildren Savannah, Ashton, Lillian, Kyler and Marley.

His family and friends are comforted knowing he is now reunited with his parents Robert Hardy and Daisy "Alberta" (Le Marr) Hardy, and his brother Jay "Greg" Hardy.

A private service will be held at a later date.
