Barbara Lucille Faris

Barbara Lucille Faris found eternal peace in the loving arms of Jesus at 12:04 am on Monday May 8th, 2023 with her son Keith and daughter in-law Lacey by her side. She was where she wanted to be “at home”, surrounded by love as The Holy Spirit welcomed her to heaven.

Barbara was a simple woman with a dynamic spirit. She will be remembered for her unwavering Catholic faith in God and Jesus, her compassion for the poor, and being passionately pro-life. Barbara stored up her treasures in heaven, not here on earth.

She loved and adored her husband Joe Faris (deceased 2012), her son Keith, daughter in-law Lacey, her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many other immediate and extended family members.

Barbara’s friends were abundant and also extremely important to her. She valued relationships and experiences over any type of material possession. She poured love and strength into people in her own unique and special way, and brought humor to most situations. Many told Barbara in her final days, that she encouraged them to strengthen their faith in God, by simply living so strongly in her faith. We as a family hope, and we know she would hope, this strengthening in faith continues to happen as we all grieve the significant void in our hearts without her here on earth.
