Artie Mae 'Tiny' Horne

Artie Mae 'Tiny' Horne joined her beloved husband, Raymond, in heaven on March 3, 2018.

Tiny was born on December 27, 1931 in Athens TN, to Arch O. and Bernola Henley, who, with her Grandparents Charles and Artie Rayl, brought her to Manatee County in 1935.

She graduated from Manatee High School in 1949 and retired from General Telephone Company in 1990.

She enjoyed her retirement years spending time in Scaly Mountain, NC and traveling.

She is survived by her three children, Donna Matzke (Scott), Terrie Crisp (Park), and Mike Horne (Debra), ten Grandchildren and seven Great-Grandchildren.

She was much loved and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be held Tuesday March 6, 2018 from 6-8pm at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave. West. Bradenton, Fl.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Tidewell Hospice.
