Annie Gladys Chastain

Annie Gladys Chastain, 94, Bradenton, passed away May 16, 2015.

Gladys was born October 27, 1920 in Dothan, AL to the late Rush L. and Lois (Green) Coe. She moved to Bradenton in the 1940’s coming from Tampa.

She was the former owner and bookkeeper along with her late husband of the Trailways Bus Station in Bradenton for many years. Gladys was also one of the longest members of the First Baptist Church of Bradenton where she assisted her late sister Blanche with the Happy Hearts Group for many years.

Gladys was predeceased by her husband Waldron in 1993 and her sister Blanche Ingram in 2009. She is survived by her two loving children and their husband’s; Barbara and Harry Tiedeman, Nancy and Joe Lancaster , dear grandson, Spencer Tiedeman all of Bradenton, and many extended family members, brothers and sisters in Christ.

Private family services will be held with interment at the Manasota Memorial Park next to her husband Waldron.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to TideWell Hospice in her memory.
