Daughters are a source of immeasurable joy for her parents. Long before a daughter is born, she is deeply loved. Daughters are often a mother's best friend, her ally, and her most precious treasure. A parent's love for a daughter is so intense and selfless. For this reason, the loss of a daughter can bring on a range of difficult emotions including numbness, guilt, anger, emptiness, disbelief and deep sadness. RIP in Daughter mine. I will love you forever!!!!

Amy you are without a doubt the strongest person that I will ever have in my life. I love and admire you for your obvious outward traits such as your devotion to our children, no-nonsense approach to any and all problems you face and countless other Amy’isms. However the thing I will miss most is the subtle and quiet growth in our relationship. As life was becoming quieter I was enjoying the opportunity to learn how to understand your deeper private self, I was looking forward to loving you as an empty nester, as a grandmother and then eventually to come full circle back to crotchety old lady. Amy I love you, I miss you and you will always be a force in my heart.
