Alice W. French, 92, of Bradenton, passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the TideWell Hospice House in Bradenton.
Alice was born on September 5, 1924 in Owensville, Indiana to the late George and Fannie (Gudgel) Ward. She was a homemaker and longtime resident of Indianapolis, Indiana. Alice moved to Bradenton 32 years coming from Indianapolis. She was also of the Methodist faith.
She was predeceased by her loving husband Samuel R. French in August of 2008, a son Richard W. French and by four brothers. Alice is survived by her daughter Suzanne Grove and her husband Stephen of Indianapolis, Indiana, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and many extended family members and friends.
Services will be held at a later date in Fort Branch, Indiana where she will be laid to rest at the Walnut Hill Cemetery next to her husband.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to TideWell Hospice Inc. in her memory.
