Robert 'Bob' W. Guerette

February 14, 1936 — November 28, 2018

Robert W. Guerette, 82, of Bradenton, formerly of Old Orchard Beach, Maine passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

Bob was born to Alfred and Dorothy Guerette in Cambridge, MA. Growing up in Belmont,MA, Bob was an avid hockey and baseball player. He played hockey while at Northeastern University where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Business.

Bob married the love of his life Judy at Evangelical Free Church in Waltham, MA and raised their children in Acton, MA. Bob spent his career as sales rep in various aspects of the construction business and coaching hockey for 15 years. He and his wife moved to the beach in Maine where he later retired. He spent much of his time playing golf and working at Biddeford Saco Country Club (BSCC). When Bob and Judy moved to Bradenton he continued to be an avid golfer and you could find him at Manatee Golf or Buffalo Creek golfing 6 days a week. Bob will be missed by his beloved golfing buddies especially Tom Melanson.

Bob is predeceased by his parents, his brother James Guerette and his daughter Lauren Guerette-Anastos.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy, his sons Robert (Lisa) Guerette Jr., of Shrewsbury, MA, Douglas Guerette of Bradenton, FL, his son in law Alan Anastos of St. Petersburg, FL. His 4 grandchildren,Robert S. Guerette of Shrewsbury, MA, Zachary Guerette of Arlington, VA,  Lexine Anastos of Boston,MA, and Marissa (Mario) Franco of Winter Park, FL who gave him 2 Great-Grandchildren Lily and Liam.

No local services will be held, a private family celebration will be held at a later date.
