Keith W Stiger

September 24, 1955 — June 27, 2022

Keith Stiger, 66, of Bradenton, Florida, native of Muncy, died peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2022, with his wife Sara Dodge and stepson Gregory at his side. Born on September 24, 1955, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Roy W. Stiger and the late Yvonne F. (Larson) Stiger. Keith graduated from high school in Muncy - Class of ’73, having completed its business curriculum courses. In high school, Keith played many sports, among them were wrestling, football, and volleyball. Keith was on the winning Muncy High Volleyball team, which participated in a Pennsylvania State level competition held in State College. After high school, Keith went out west with his posse of friends to ride horses and fix fences as a ranch hand for the historic A Bar A Guest Ranch, and later for the Heart-Bar Heart Working Ranch in Wyoming state. After returning to Pennsylvania, Keith worked as a Millwright for Sprout-Waldron, Construction Specialties, and other local construction and manufacturing businesses. In the latter half of his career, Keith served as an Information Technology Computer Desktop/Network Technician for the Susquehanna Hospital Health System, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) General Services Administration (GSA) Contracting Directorate. Keith had many friends; he was full of fun and wit, and he had something funny to say in every situation. He especially loved being a father. The best part of his day was after work, when he could take his sons Christopher and Gabriel along with him in his truck as he went out to visit with his Hughesville friends. In later years, Keith enjoyed fathering and spending time with his stepson Gregory Dodge Converse. After taking retirement, Keith spent his time taking day trips with his wife Sara, to visit towns and beaches located along the Florida Gulf of Mexico, speed-boating on the Sarasota Bay. Keith also enjoyed spending time working with his leather craft, where he was skilled at making handgun and buck knife holsters, waist band cell phone monogrammed leather wallets, sun-visors, small leather bowls, leather beer cozy, leather bow ties, and other leather products, which he then gave to his loved ones as gifts. Keith is survived by his wife Sara Dodge, son Gabriel Stiger, and brothers, Barry Stiger (Barb), Randy Stiger (Barb), Kent Stiger (Deb), David Stiger (Kris) and Donald Stiger (Sue), as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family asks that donations in Keith’s name be made to the American Cancer Society. Private, closed funeral services and interment. Please send prayers.
