Justin Bradford Lakin

Justin Bradford Lakin, 21, passed away on November 24, 2017.   Justin was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on December 19, 1995 and moved to Florida in 2000.  Justin attended Bayshore High School where he played baseball, was named all area player his senior year, and helped his team win a championship.  Justin attended Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona where he played Rugby and enjoyed a full college experience. His studies included History and Political Science.

His love for both sports and history brought him to travel around the country and the world.  His passions included collecting autographs and sports memorabilia, watching baseball games and classic films, and supporting the University of Miami football team.  During his 21 short years he lived life to its fullest and loved his family unconditionally.

Justin is survived by his parents John F. Lakin and Jo Anne Lanza of Bradenton, Florida and his sister Joy Lakin of Los Angeles, California.  He is also survived by his Grandmother Catherine Lanza and Grandparents Kenneth and Nancy Lakin of Massachusetts as well as several loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Due to a change in venue a Celebration of Life will now be held at Shannon Funeral Home Westview Chapel, 5610 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, Florida on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 3 PM.
