Bonnie Carman Partlow

Bonnie (Carmen) Partlow passed peacefully on January 23, 2023 at the age of 96 in Bradenton, FL

surrounded by her loving grandchildren. Bonnie was born on November 3, 1926 in West Terre Haute,

IN. She was a devout Christian and a member of First Baptist Church of Bradenton. She was a greeter at

the church for many years and was famous for her hugs. Members of the church would often stand in

line to get one of Bonnie’s famous hugs. She worked as a caregiver for Home Instead and finally retired

from taking care of elderly patients in her late eighties. Everyone who knew her was blessed beyond

measure.

She was a proud grandmother of six grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great

grandchildren. Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon S. Partlow; her daughter Deborah

Ann (Partlow) Arlington, and her sons Richard ‘Bud’ Partlow and V. David Partlow.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Shannon Funeral Homes Town Chapel at 1015 14 th

Street West in Bradenton, FL from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
